We’re excited to announce that GWES will be at SirenCon 2025 this year as an official sponsor, and we’ve got some awesome things to show you!
If you’ve ever been curious about how Emergency Alert System (EAS) messages actually get out to you, you’ll definitely want to stop by our booth! We’ll have real EAS equipment set up and running, so you can see exactly how alerts are generated and transmitted. It’s a rare chance to get hands-on with the tech that works to keep you safe.
We’re also showing off the latest version of the Central Alert Repository app and website. It’s designed to make it easier than ever to explore past alerts, as well as track what’s happening across the country and to learn more about how the system works. You’ll even have the chance to originate your own alerts to send to a special version of CAR! Whether you’re a longtime EAS enthusiast or just getting into it, CAR is built for you.
Can’t make it to the event in person? Don’t worry – GWES will be operating the official livestream, bringing you coverage from the event as it happens. Whether you’re here in the United States, or halfway across the world, you’ll be able to join in on the fun!
We’re proud to support SirenCon, and even more excited to meet members of the EAS, weather, and especially the siren communities, and introduce new people into the world of emergency alerting in any form.
If you do choose to go to the event in person, please make sure to register by clicking here. You must register to attend in person. The cost is $8 per person, plus a donation to the group who operates the convention when you register. Donations directly help keep the event funded to go again next year!
SirenCon 2025 is taking place at Tesomas Scout Camp, just north of Rhinelander, WI on Saturday, May 31, 2025. Check out the SirenCon website for more information!
