We’re excited to announce that GWES will be returning to SirenCon 2026 as the official livestream partner, and we’ve got some fun things planned for this year!
If you’ve ever been curious about how the Emergency Alert System (EAS) works, and how messages get out to the public, make sure to stop by our booth! We’ll have real EAS equipment set up and running so you can see exactly how alerts are generated, transmitted and received.
We’ll also be showcasing the latest version of the Central Alert Repository (CAR) app and website. CAR makes it easier than ever to explore alerts from across the country, find pass alerts, and learn more about how the system as a whole works! Visitors of our booth at SirenCon will even have the opportunity to originate their own alerts into a special demonstration version of CAR and see how they appear in real time.
We will also be showing off how easy it is to share your NOAA Weather Radio stream to the world through GWES WeatherRadio. Come see how easy it is to get started!
In addition to our booth, GWES will be producing and operating the official SirenCon 2026 livestream. This year, we’ll be bringing viewers an even more complete look at the event, including commentary from our team, as well as all siren activations from the event. Whether you’re across the country or across the world, you’ll still be able to experience SirenCon from the comfort of your own home. We have some exciting enhancements for our 2026 stream, so be sure to tune in!
We’re proud to continue supporting SirenCon and are excited to meet members of the siren, weather, and EAS communities, as well as introduce new people into the world of emergency alerting.
SirenCon 2026 will take place at Tesomas Scout Camp near Rhinelander, Wisconsin on Saturday, May 30, 2026. If you plan to attend in person, make sure to register ahead of time! Registration is required to attend.
We hope to see you there, either in person or on the livestream!
